Truth Behind Freshly Squeezed 'Tropicana'

Have you ever wondered why ever glass of fresh juice taste the same ?
How could a freshly squeezed and packaged juice could stay fresh for more than a year ?
But we know each orange/ lemon has different sweetness/ sourness !!!

Truth is 

The industrially-produced orange juice, after the oranges are squeezed, stored in giant holding tanks.Then oxygen is removed from them, so that  the ' liquid ' can be kept for year with out spoiling or bacteria attack.

Removing oxygen also makes the juice completely flavourless. So the big brands like 'Tropican' uses “ flavour packs” to re-flavour the juice. Now juice companies  hire chemical engineers   to find best chemical formula  to the juice to make it taste 'fresh'

Flavour packs aren’t listed as an ingredient on the label because technically they are derived from orange essence and oil.Yet those in the industry will tell you that the flavour packs, whether made for reconstituted or pasteurized orange juice, resemble nothing found in nature.”

That said, drinking orange juice, whether fresh-squeezed or not, is actually NOT as healthy as it sounds.
In fact, orange juice is one of the top five "health" foods I recommend but make it fresh at home :)

Be Careful when eating apples.

Please don't eat the skin of the apples because it's coated with wax. Check before you eat many of the fruits. Wax is being used for preservation purposes and cold storage. You might be surprised especially apples from Europe and other parts are more than one year old, though it would look fresh.

Because wax is coated, preventing bacteria to enter. So it does not get dry. Please Eat Apples after removing the wax.

Fall Back

The term “to fall back” suggests that one must set the clocks one hour back when Daylight Savings Time ends. It is associated with the fall (autumn) season because the Daylight Savings Time schedule ends in the fall. The fall season and the end of daylight saving time mark a period when the days become darker, in that there are less hours of sunlight during the day, particularly in the afternoons or evenings, as winter soon approaches.

We all have our favourite sweets, some of us have more than one. But we all should know what we are having or gifting lovely kids.

GM foods or GMO's (genetically-modified organisms) is most commonly used to refer to crop plants created for human or animal consumption using the latest molecular biology techniques.

Even though genetically-modified foods have the potential to solve many of the world's hunger and malnutrition problems many children in the US and Europe have developed life-threatening allergies to peanuts and other foods.

The info graphic displays some of the most popular candy that is given away to children who trick or treat on Halloween.

This year, please be informed and aware of what you are giving to the children as treats. All of the candies displayed in the info graphic contain Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's).
