Seizing the opportunity

During a robbery in Guangzhou, China, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you."

Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.

When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!"

This is called "Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!

When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got."

The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!"

This is called "Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!

After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”.

This is called "Swim with the tide.” Converting an unfavourable situation to your advantage!

The supervisor says: "It will be good if there is a robbery every month."

This is called "Killing Boredom.” Personal Happiness is more important than your job.

The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!"

This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!"

The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery.

This is called "Seizing the opportunity.”

How healthy is idili ?

Idli, also known as iddly, is a steamed cake made from rice and black lentils originating from Southern India. Idlis are made in a specialized mold and eaten with chutney, vegetable stew or other flavorful toppings for breakfast or as a snack.

Yes, and its not even the healthiest Indian breakfast, its the most healthiest world breakfast ...

Its fermented
Its steamed
Its light
It digests easily
Its probiotic

What else do you want ?

Calories, Fat, Sodium and Cholesterol
Each idli contains just 39 calories, which is a minimal amount in comparison to a healthy 2,000-calorie daily diet. Idlis contain no fat, no saturated fat and no cholesterol. Consuming less than 16 grams of saturated fat and 300 milligrams of cholesterol lessens your risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. From the salt, each idli does contain about 65 milligrams of sodium. It is recommended no more than 2,300 milligrams per day to prevent high blood pressure.
Protein, Fiber and Carbohydrates
In a single idli, you consume 2 grams of protein, 2 grams of dietary fiber and 8 grams of carbohydrates. For a light snack, that is a notable amount of protein and fiber with minimal carbohydrates. Healthy adults need 50 grams of protein and 225 grams of carbohydrates daily. Adequate protein facilitates muscle repair, and carbohydrates provide energy. Fiber promotes healthy digestion and bulks stool -- men need between 28 and 34 grams of fiber and women between 22 and 28 grams daily.
Vitamins and Minerals
One idli contains 1 milligram of iron, and trace amounts of calcium, folate, potassium and vitamin A. The iron is mostly from the black lentils, with about 25 percent of it from the rice. Iron keeps your blood oxygenated and is crucial for any diet. Men need 8 milligrams daily and women 18 milligrams.

Onion Socks

Onions are considered a natural remedy for various illnesses, and are known for their magical healing power. They are also known as natural air purifiers, and when applied directly to the skin, they tend to remove the bacteria and kill the germs. The phosphoric acid (the substance that irritates our eyes while chopping onions) present in onions helps in purifying the blood as it enters the blood vessels.

You have nothing to lose by giving this onion and sock therapy a try! It comes with a number of benefits. As you sleep, the healing properties of the onions will be absorbed by the feet, and this will help in stimulating the meridians.

Here’s How You Can Do It:

·         Take an onion (red or white) and cut it into thin and flat slices (make sure it’s an organic onion to avoid any side effects of pesticides like fungal infections).

·         Place the onion slice in your socks (under your foot, like a platform), and sleep as you usually do.

Benefits are:

·         Blood purification.
·         Removal of germs and bacteria.
·         Elimination of toxins and chemicals from the feet and making them smell better (believe it or not, it works!)
·         Alleviating symptoms of fever like cold and flu.

However, reusing the same onion slice is not at all recommended. So, be careful about that.
Were you aware of the fact that the bottom areas of your feet have direct access points to all the internal organs in your body? As per Chinese medicine terminology, these access points are known as meridians, and they form the pathways to each organ in the body. There has been an age old controversy regarding the existence of meridians, but those who are well versed with the Chinese medicine know that the meridian system is very closely related to our body’s nervous system.  Experts say that there are about 7,000 meridians at the bottom of our feet that directly link to different organs! Can you believe that?
The image below clearly represents the meridians and their connection points with the organs and systems within the body.

Family isn't always blood

Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are.

The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what. So be thankful for what you have.

Don't wait until its too late to tell someone how much you love them and how much you care about them, because when they're gone, no matter how loud you shout and cry, they wont hear you anymore.

Happy Holidays

Snake Love

There once was a woman who had a pet snake that she loved very much.
The snake was about 7 feet long and one day it just stopped eating.
After several weeks of trying everything she could to get the snake to eat, the woman took it to the vet.
The woman explained the situation to the vet and he asked her,
"Has your snake been sleeping with you at night or snuggling really close and stretching himself out?
" The woman replied, "Yes he's been doing it everyday and it makes me so sad that I can't help him feel better."
The vet says "Ma'am your snake is not sick, he has been preparing to eat you.
He's been sizing you up everyday so he knows how big he has to be, and not eating so he has enough room to digest you.
Moral of the story:
You've gotta recognize the snakes out there in your life.
Just because they seem close to you  it doesn't mean their intentions are good.
Even Judas gave the first kiss.

Meat and Cancer

Bacon, burgers and sausages are as big a cancer threat as cigarettes, global health chiefs warned today.A new World Health Organisation report has classified processed meat as carcinogenic alongside arsenic and asbestos.

Officials said just 50g of processed meat a day – less than one sausage – increases the risk of bowel cancer by almost a fifth.

The report also classified red meat as ‘probably carcinogenic’ – one rank below – but added that it had some nutritional benefits.

Experts are now urging the public to avoid processed meat where possible and to have a bean salad for lunch rather than a BLT.
