Lessons learned in 2020

1️⃣ BALANCE is key

• working from home means less travelling/commuting & more family or self time. Yet it is tempting to work late.

💡 Dare to take breaks. Go for a run, meditate or plan a yoga course at times when you are less productive.

2️⃣ Embrace the DIGITAL approach

• remote working is there to stay. We discovered its endless possibilities.

💡 invest time to master new tools. Young colleagues (digital natives) are a great source of inspiration.

3️⃣ Dare to show VULNERABILITY

• I had moments of joy and frustration. And talking to colleagues, I figured out we all had our ups & downs.

💡 connect with colleagues and friends, not only to monitor progress on projects. A simple e-coffee or chat can do miracles. The old coffee-corner moment, remember.

My wishes for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣:

1️⃣ BLENDED living and working

Let’s keep what worked well and combine this with genuine human contact and exchange. Face-to-face interactions will be more important than ever.

2️⃣ RESPECT our 🌎

We have been testing the limits of our ecology. Let’s learn lessons and take care of our planet.

3️⃣ Enjoy the LITTLE THINGS

Beauty is to be found everywhere. Be kind to yourself and the people around you.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
